Back In The Game: COVID Reopening Procedures

Escape Artistry will reopen to the public on June 30th. While we’re excited to get back to work sending agents traveling throughout history, we know how important it is to be mindful of the present. We have implemented new procedures to keep our staff, guests, and communities safe.

Please find new guest requirements and additional sanitation measures below:

PRIVATE GROUPS ONLY

• We have removed the requirement that teams need to purchase all available tickets to ensure a private room. When booking online, simply book for your own number of players, and we will ensure your room is private.
• Additional note: if you are booking as a two-player team, you will still need to meet the minimum 3 ticket booking requirement for our Time Gallery rooms.

NO WALK IN BOOKINGS

• Teams must purchase tickets in advance, online, or over the phone.

GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES.

• We have a limited number of fabric masks on site available for purchase if needed at $10/mask made by our friends at Artists’ Resource Mobilization. You can find their products, handmade by Chicago artists, on Etsy.

GUESTS ARE REQUIRES TO WASH THEIR HANDS BEFORE AND AFTER EACH GAME.

SANITATION CADDY

• We will provide a “sanitation caddy” for teams during the mission, containing: gloves, hand sanitizer, and Clorox wipes.

STAGGERED GAME TIMES

• Game start times will be staggered throughout the day to ensure additional time for room disinfection, and to prevent exposure between teams.
• After a room has been played, it will not be used again for 24 hours.

WE REQUEST THAT GUEST COMPLETE THEIR WAIVER BEFORE ARRIVING AT OUR FACILITY.

• If a guest needs to complete their waiver upon arrival, they should do so on their personal device to limit close interaction between staff and guests.

Guest waivers have been updated to include confirmation that they are not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

Staff will have temperatures checked before their shift, and asked to stay home should they exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms.
