2020: A Year of Creative Innovation

This was not the year any of us anticipated. As we approach the fourth quarter of 2020, we want to share how we’ve used creative innovation to keep our business healthy and maintain our core values.

When our doors closed for time traveling, we knew we needed to be nimble. We also, however, felt obligated to maintain our mission and support local artists. With six highly original escape rooms sitting untouched, we rented our facility to filmmakers, photographers, musicians, and other artists to make creative use of these spaces.

Unique Rental Spaces

We are thankful to Chicago’s diverse artistic community for continuing to make art in the face of adversity. We are thrilled to support these artists by providing affordable, safe, clean, and unique rental spaces as backdrops for their work. Vice versa, we’re incredibly grateful for their financial support. Creative innovation has been a pillar in keeping our daily operations afloat.

Every one of our escape rooms has now been rented for creative production in some way, shape, or form. It has been amazing to see our spaces take new light under the creative direction of diverse talent. We have hosted music video shoots, photography sessions, play readings, and more.
